The original Green Book helped Black travelers find safe places during a different time in America. The Oklahoma Green Book honors that spirit by creating a modern platform focused on visibility, discovery, and support for Black owned businesses.

We are starting with the directory, but the bigger goal is to build a full business ecosystem where Black owned businesses can gain visibility, attract customers, sell products, book services, promote events, and grow their reach.

When does my membership start?
Your membership does not officially start until the Oklahoma Green Book directory launches and your business is approved. Right now, you are only reserving your Founding Member spot.
Do I pay anything today?
No. There is no payment required when you submit the registration form. You are simply registering your business and reserving your spot for review.
What happens after I register?
After you submit your information, someone from the Oklahoma Green Book team will review your business, contact you, explain the Founding Member opportunity, answer your questions, and send an invoice if you decide to move forward.
How much is Founding Membership?
Founding Membership is $99 for the first year, which comes out to less than $9 per month.
How many Founding Member spots are available?
Only 100 Founding Member spots are available. Once those 100 spots are filled, Founding Membership closes permanently.
Who can become a Founding Member?
Founding Membership is for Black-owned businesses in Oklahoma that want more visibility, promotion opportunities, and early recognition as original supporters of the Oklahoma Green Book.
Does my business have to be located in Oklahoma?
Yes. The first phase of the Oklahoma Green Book is focused on Black-owned businesses located in Oklahoma.
What do Founding Members receive?
Founding Members receive a business directory listing, Founding Member badge, priority placement, promotion opportunities, business spotlight opportunities, and first access to future Green Book features.
Is this only for customers who are Black?
No. The Oklahoma Green Book is built to help everyone discover, support, and celebrate Black-owned businesses across Oklahoma.
Is the directory live right now?
The full directory is not live yet. We are currently accepting Founding Member reservations before the official launch.
Will my business be promoted?
Founding Members may receive promotion opportunities through social media, business spotlights, interviews, launch marketing, and future Green Book promotional features.
Can service-based businesses join?
Yes. The Oklahoma Green Book is open to eligible Black-owned businesses, including service providers, restaurants, retail businesses, professionals, creatives, contractors, beauty professionals, consultants, and more.
What happens after the first 100 spots are filled?
Once the first 100 Founding Member spots are filled, no more Founding Member positions will be offered. Future businesses may still be able to join under regular membership options after launch.
